JUNGLE GIRLS Panther Woman

This is the Panther Woman of the precode version of H.G. Wells Island of Doctor Moreau called the Island of Lost Souls. Charles Laughton played Dr. Moreau who was evolving animals into humans. He wanted to beat their animal instincts out of them. This is Kathleen Burke who played what Dr. Moreau would consider his greatest triumph If any of his creatures revert to their animal traits, Dr. Moreau would take them to the House of Pain. It was where he would give them lessons in manners, he would use at least at the end of a whip. [link]
