Raquel Welch as Loana the Fair One

This is Raquel Welch as Loana from "One Million Years B.C." The specail effects were done by Ray Harryhausen www.youtube.com/watch?v=iCeX2W… but these marvelous dinosaurs were overshadowed by Ms. Welch. There is a scene where Loana is menanced by Petradon www.youtube.com/watch?v=OKCTPS… where the flying dinosaur carries her away. If you watch Raquek falls behind some rocks and than Petradon carries her off.

Raquel Welch really fall into a pit so she would hidden then a puppet of Raquel Welch was carried by the dinosaur. Every movement was done the expert hands of Mr. Harryhausen, very lucky bugger.
