Description

Here is a request by :iconmightymorphinpower4: for Emperor Sharga capturing  Ariel the Little Mermaid. Sharga has lassoed some hostage for his scheme against the merfolk.

Ariel is the titular character and protagonist of Disney's 1989 animated feature film The Little Mermaid and its 1992-1994 television series, 2000 sequel and 2008 prequel.

Ariel is based on the protagonist of Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale "The Little Mermaid", but was developed into a different personality for the 1989 animated film adaptation. Her distinct appearance consists of long red hair, a green tail, and a lavender seashell bra.

Ariel is voiced by Jodi Benson in most of her appearances and is the 4th official Disney Princess.

A stage musical version of the film debuted in 2007, in which the "live" role of Ariel was originated by Sierra Boggess and finalized by Chelsea Morgan Stock, who previously played her sister Andrina. She is portrayed live again in the ABC series Once Upon A Time by Joanna Garcia.

Emperor Sharga is a villainous character from Little Mermaid Television Series. He is voiced by Jim Cummings, who based his voice on actor Marlon Brando.

Sharga is leader of the Sharkanians, a race of creatures that are related to sharks, just as merfolk are related to fish. He is cunning and tricky, and wants to take over Atlantica. He, and his Sharkanians, appear in the episode "The Great Sebastian" and "King Crab".

Your art is great. Maybe you could tie ariel down to where her tail begins very tightly and have the rope tied to a pirateship mast with a pirate mocking her. That would be interesting. Drawing tip: could you make her tail a bit wider at the top and smaller towards the bottom? otherwise, this is great!Good job!
