For the Western Civilization Board October Art Theme: Universal Monsters Jam. October: Universal Monsters - For Halloween month we have to make use of the Universal Monsters. Maybe Dracula has bound a would-be bride or someone kidnapped the Bride of Frankenstein? Lot's of things to imagine This is Tarantula, a 1955 atomic bug monster from Universal, a common tarantula is given a radio isotope that causes it grow to super size. The film had a small role for Clint Eastwood who played a fighter pilot.  It seems Blythe Baxter, Sue Patterson and Youngmee Song have run into the tarantula, Blythe is trying her power to talk to animals to save themselves.  There was a episode where Blythe talks to a spider named Webber about her friendship troubles.  It is not working for Blythe.

Blythe Baxter is the cute and beautiful main character in the series Littlest Pet Shop. She has the amazing ability to talk to animals and she befriends the daycamp pets at Littlest Pet Shop. She loves to design clothes and hang out with her friends. Blythe isn't sure how or why she can suddenly talk to animals, but now that she can, she couldn't imagine her life any other way! Blythe's outfit changes in every episode as well as her hair which also changes. Her dad is Roger Baxter and her mom apparently died when she was very young. Blythe is most likely or possibly 13 years old, somewhere in her teens. Her pet friends are Zoe Trent, Pepper Clark, Minka Mark, Penny Ling, Russell Ferguson, Sunil Nevia, and Vinnie Terrio. Her human friends are Sue Patterson, Youngmee Song, Jasper Jones and Mrs. Twombly. She has a crush on Josh Sharp. Blythe has a passion for fashion. Blythe is generally friendly but when it comes to the Biskit Twins, she knows how to defend herself. Of all of the pets in every episode Blythe seems to interact with Zoe the most. In A Penny For Your Laughs she was briefly best friends with the Biskits after she stood up to Vi for them causing them to be BFFs.

Youngmee Song is one Blythe Baxter's best friends whom she had met upon attending her first day at her brand new school, along with Sue Patterson and Jasper Jones. Her aunt is Christie, a woman who runs a sweet shop.She is voiced by Shannon Chan Kent. Youngmee is a somewhat soft-spoken, but intelligent girl. Bythe finds her almost encyclopedic knowledge somewhat creepy. Youngmee is a girl of Asian descent with pale colored skin and somewhat slanted purple eyes. She wears her black hair up in low buns with two pink-purple flowers. She wears a green shirt with a heart design on the front and yellow sleeves, black shoes, shorts and purple leggings.

Sue Patterson is one of Blythe's friends among with Jasper and Youngmee. She is very athletic,caring and part of the cheerleading squad. She admires Blythe and wants to be like her. She enjoys athletics and tries to get Blythe to expand her own athletic abilities by pushing her by harder to do things such as roller skating. She likes Blythe's fashion designs. She is Voiced by Kira Tozer. She has orange hair.
